Ex-Kano pilgrims welfare board DG, Kofar Mata, dies at 70

Alhaji Sani Lawan Kofar Mata, the former Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has passed away at the age of 70. His death occurred in Kano after a prolonged illness, marking the loss of a significant figure in the region's political landscape.

Kofar Mata was well-known for his contributions to the organization of Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, playing a vital role in facilitating these spiritual journeys for many Muslims in Nigeria.
