Gaza students return to makeshift schools after three years of genocide

After three years of conflict, hundreds of thousands of students in Gaza are returning to makeshift schools. The academic year began with around 500,000 students resuming their studies, including 350,000 in public schools and 150,000 in UNRWA-run schools. However, the learning environment is far from normal, as 98% of schools in Gaza have suffered damage due to the conflict. The lack of proper facilities and resources continues to hinder the educational experience for these children.
