Arab NewsSep 28, 2026

Saudi Arabia is launching an initiative to enhance online safety training for students, teachers, and caregivers. Over the next three years, more than 126,000 individuals will participate in this program, which is supported by Google.org and delivered by INJAZ Al-Arab. The initiative aims to expand the reach of Google's Arabic-language online safety curriculum, Abtal Al Internet, across public schools in the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Education has endorsed this program, highlighting its importance in today's digital age. The training will primarily target 120,000 primary school pupils, along with 3,750 teachers and caregivers, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with the necessary skills to navigate online environments safely.

This initiative reflects a growing recognition of the need for digital literacy and safety in education, particularly in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. By investing in online safety training, Saudi Arabia aims to foster a safer online experience for its youth and educators alike.
