Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to national security amid escalating threats from the Houthi armed group. In a recent address, he emphasized that the kingdom will respond decisively to any attacks that undermine its safety, highlighting the ongoing conflict in Yemen and the regional implications of Houthi actions.

MBS pointed to the trilateral Mecca Joint Defence Agreement with Turkiye and Pakistan as a strategic move to enhance regional stability and protect common interests. He stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions while maintaining a firm stance on security.

The situation has intensified with recent Houthi attacks on Saudi territories, including missile strikes aimed at key locations. In response, Saudi Arabia has established a multinational maritime coalition to safeguard international waterways, indicating a proactive approach to regional security challenges.
