Yemeni government forces say they have 'secured' Bab al-Mandab Strait

Yemeni government forces have announced that they have secured the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a crucial maritime route.

This claim is contested by Houthi-run media, which assert that no significant advances have been made in the Dhubab area, which overlooks this strategic waterway.

The ongoing conflict in Yemen continues to have significant implications for regional stability and international shipping routes.
